Born: Co Kildare, Ireland. Education: Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) University College Dublin. Commercial Pilots Licence (Canada) Memberships:   Chartered Engineer (C.Eng.) IEI (Ireland). Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) APEGGA (Alberta). Hobbies: Golf, Restoring old Cars & Motorcycles.

Brian has worked in many Industries in many countries in Europe and Africa before immigrating to Canada in 1974. He has over thirty years experience in maintaining all types of stationary and mobile equipment. He has been responsible for the Preventative Maintenance in an Irish Tire Plant (Semperit), A Ugandan Textile Mill (Nyanza Textiles), American Construction Equipment in Algeria (Fluor Constructors) and Canadian Drilling and Service Rigs (Simmons Drilling).

Brian was also responsible for setting up the Preventative Maintenance program presently in use on Ensign Drilling Rigs (Ensign is one of the two largest Drilling Contractors in Canada). This PM program has been accredited with substantial savings in operational costs, reductions in unplanned downtime and doubling or better the time between major overhauls on Ensign's Diesel Engines.
